WINNER of The Advantage Centre DVD Competition
Congratulations to Penelope Anderson from the
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown NSW for winning the
Advantage Centre DVD Competition.
Penelope's winning entry was drawn by Michael Woodward,
President of the Australian Wound Management Association at the
Conference Dinner. Penelope wins a travel scholarship to attend the
World Union of Wound Healing Societies Conference in Toronto
Canada.
Once again, congratulations to Penelope Anderson and many thanks
to all who participated in this competition.

A new large multicenter randomised controlled trial shows a
significantly greater proportion of diabetic foot wounds completely
healed with V.A.C.® Therapy, compared to advanced moist
wound therapy. The study also showed significantly faster wound
healing, a reduced number of secondary amputations and no changes
in therapy associated complications.
