AtmosAir® 4000 is a dynamic, non-powered mattress
effective for managing pressure and friction in the Low-Medium
risk patient.
It is the only non-powered, dynamic pressure relieving system
with Self-Adjusting Technology (SAT™).
SAT™ is a system of dynamic air chambers and cut-off
valves, which help to maximise body weight distribution and
minimise tissue interface pressure by automatically reacting to
body movement.

Self-Adjusting Technology
Works on the principle of gravity and a system of valves to
allow air to move between cushions to adjust to the patient
weight.
SAT™ valves allow air to escape, when a patient lies on
the mattress, reducing internal air pressure within the mattress.
As the internal pressure reduces, the patient sinks deeper into the
mattress, which maximises the body surface area in contact with the
mattress and minimises interface pressures.
Four Air Cells
Non-powered pressure relief offered via four zones of lengthwise
pressure distribution.
Coversheet
The coversheet is breathable and fluid resistant which helps to
maintain skin integrity and reduce hammocking.
Sloped Heel Section
A sloped heel section helps to transfer weight off of the
delicate heel and onto the calf and thigh area of the leg.

A firm perimeter provides seating support for the caregiver or
