V.A.C.® Advanced Dressings

Dedicated dressings for specific wound applications

Chronic and acute wounds can be complex and difficult to heal. That’s why KCI has designed and developed V.A.C.® Therapy dressing systems specifically created to help you in meeting your wound healing goals. These advanced dressing systems employ two technologies depending on wound type and desired wound healing goals:

V.A.C.® GranuFoam®

V.A.C. GranuFoam®*
An advanced wound dressing to assist granulation and enhance exudate removal. For use with InfoV.A.C.®, ActiV.A.C.®, V.A.C. Instill®, V.A.C. ATS® and V.A.C. Freedom®.

  • Flexible design adapts to the contours of deep and irregularly shaped wounds
  • Open reticulated pore sizes of 400–600 micrometers assist granulation[2, 3]
  • Open pore nature of V.A.C.® GranuFoam® ensures equal distribution of the negative pressure at the wound site[4]
  • Hydrophobic, open pore structure helps facilitate exudate removal

V.A.C.® WhiteFoam

V.A.C.® WhiteFoam*
A versatile and comfortable advanced wound dressing. For use with InfoV.A.C.®, ActiV.A.C.®, V.A.C. Instill®, V.A.C. ATS® and V.A.C. Freedom®.

  • Non-adherent material helps promote graft survival
  • High tensile strength ideal for wounds with tunnels or undermining
  • Increased density for restricted in-growth of granulation tissue for a more comfortable dressing change
  • Helps protect delicate underlying structures
