What is your name and your current role with KCI?
My name is Frans de Bruin, Functional Application Manager at KCI
International, based in the Netherlands. My team is responsible for
an application called Oracle. We are constantly in touch with the
users to discuss the application and we travel to the countries in
which KCI operates to investigate the processes and requirements,
design processes and train users. Our goal in IT is to make sure
KCI gets the best possible application while staying within budget
and time constraints.
Why did you choose to join KCI?
I was working at a shipping firm as an Assistant Financial
Controller. I joined KCI because they offered me a challenging job
as a Business Analyst in a new and growing IT department.
What do you like most about working for KCI?
Working for KCI means you are working for a healthy company, in
the healthcare sector. KCI is a company that really cares for its
employees; it rewards you for the effort you put in. KCI offers you
a challenging environment. I guarantee that no day is the same;
there are always plenty of challenges.
More about you
I am a father of two and try to spend most of my spare time with
my children. Other than that, I like reading techno-thrillers and
playing a round of golf with friends or colleagues.
