Our products are in principle rented and sold to hospitals,
extended care facilities and directly to patients or over
prescription to the patient at home. Payment is received from
various public and third party payers, including government-funded
programmes.
Especially V.A.C.® Therapy is eligible for coverage
in several European countries. Applications for reimbursement are
in progress for the majority of the European countries, which are
not covered yet. However, we were able to reach in parts coverage
over public and third party payers in some countries.
Therefore, reimbursement for our products depends on the type of
payer involved and the setting in which our products are used.
